Fingerprinting and Safe Environment
Volunteering at Our Lady of Lourdes School?
The Diocese of Orlando requires employees and volunteers to receive two levels of screening:
(Level I) Safe Environment Training
(Level II) Fingerprinting and Background Check.
Please keep in mind that the volunteers who have NOT completed both Level I and Level II may not volunteer! Only after completing these requirements will the individual be able to volunteer their service in the parish or school.
Volunteers may fulfill their Safe Environment Training (Level I) requirement by viewing a 20-minute video and taking a subsequent online test which takes about 5 minutes. This web-based training is available 24/7 and may be accessed at the Diocese website.

Volunteers then register to be fingerprinted and complete fingerprint requirements and background checks. A code will be necessary when registering to get fingerprinted.
