Science Fair can be FUN!

If you have never done a science fair project before, it has been a while, or you just want to be sure you do a really great job be sure and look at the following websites for tips on what makes a good project before doing anything else. This way you will know ahead of time what will be expected of you.

In General.... 

  1. Understanding the Scientific Method.  It is important to understand the scientific method before beginning a project.

  2. Choosing a topic is the next step. Here you will find a variety of websites some of which ask questions to give you ideas for your project. Others describe the projects step by step.

  3. Now, with a subject in mind, you are ready to go forward. Along the way you might need some additional help so check out links to resources or ask an expert for help.

  4. After you have found the answers to your scientific question, you are now prepared to build your project and make your presentation with knowledge and confidence.  Check out the hints and tips for writing your paper, making your display, and preparing for your presentation.
