4th Grade
4th grade will begin to play Recorders this year. A note  will be sent home to inform parents as to the timing and cost of this instrument and book.

5th Grade
The 5th grade class will continue building on the skills began last year. We will be playing the recorder and earning "belts" for the Recorder Karate Program. 5th grade attends the Brevard Symphony Orchestra concert each year.

6th Grade
The 6th grade class will build an instrument of their own design by the end of the year.        RUBRIC                        
                                             
7th Grade
The 7th graders are learning all about Music History. This will culminate in their interview with Queen White for the position of Court Composer.
Last year's Court Composer will "pass the baton"  to the new winner!
PROJECT INFORMATION


8th Grade
Music study focuses on form and tonality and harmonic styles.  An overview of Music history integrating history, language, and culture is taught.  Students explore Classical, Baroque, Romantic, Impressionistic, and Modern styles of music.
