Providing your child with a catholic education is a tremendous gift and takes financial sacrifices. With that said, we want you to be aware of several scholarship and financial aid opportunities that may assist you in reaching your goal of a catholic education for your child/children:
Step Up for Students Scholarship
The scholarship is now available to all income-eligible students who are entering grades K-5, no matter where they attended school the previous year. Step Up for Students, an income-based Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program, is an innovative program that provides K-12 education scholarships for qualifying low-income students. The scholarship gives low-income parents the opportunity to choose the K-12 school that best meets their children's needs. For the 2013-14 school year, Step Up will be awarding scholarships worth more than $4,700 for private school tuition.

The John M. McKay Scholarship Program is a school choice program that allows students with learning differences or disabilities (who have received Individualized Educational Plans (IEP’s) through the public school system), to attend a private school as an option. The scholarship often equals the full in-parish tuition of the private school. For further information, please visit http://www.mckayscholarship.com, www.floridaschoolchoice.org, or call the McKay Hotline at 1-800-447-1636.
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish Tuition Assistance Program
If you are a registered parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and need tuition assistance and your child is in grades K-8, (and you are not eligible for any of the above assistance programs), you may apply online at FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment at www.factstuitionaid.com. **However, you must complete the school’s Tuition Agreement Form and pay the registration fee before you are considered for a scholarship.
