Report Cards

Report cards are distributed four times per year as noted on the school calendar. Interim reports are distributed half way through each marking period and are noted on the school calendar as well. The report card indicates the child’s progress as determined by the work completed in school, homework assignments, testing and class participation.

Grading Scale

A+ 98- 100% (indicates excellent work)

A 94 – 97%

A- 90 – 93%

B+ 87 – 89% (indicates above average work)

B 83 – 86 %

B- 80 – 82%

C+ 77 – 79% (indicates average work)

C 73 – 76%

C- 70 – 72%

D+ 67 – 69% (indicates below average work)

D 63 – 66%

D- 60 – 62%

F below 60% (indicates failing work)

HONOR ROLL REQUIREMENTS

Honor roll is for students in grade six, seven, and eight. The honor roll is awarded according to the following criteria:

Second Honors:

Cumulative average of 90 – 93.99

No grades less than 83

Satisfactory conduct grade

Quarterly Reading Renaissance goals must be met in three areas: 85% correct, book level, and points

First Honors:

Cumulative average of 94 – 100

No grades less than 83

Satisfactory conduct grade

Quarterly Reading Renaissance goals must be met in three areas: 90% correct, book level and points
