Art

Art students in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School’s pre-kindergarten through eighth grade enjoy learning the basic visual art concepts, and are continuously encouraged to stretch their imaginations and implement problem-solving skills using a variety of materials. There is an integration of classroom studies into the art curriculum, and the curriculum is individualized and age appropriate for each grade level.

Music

The Music curriculum at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is designed to include singing, movement, listening, instrumental work, music reading, and preparation for chapel songs.  Movement includes gross and small motor skills, spatial awareness, eye movement and other activities designed to enhance reading readiness.  Rhythm instruments like xylophones, glockenspiels and keyboards supplement the lessons, and parents and extended family are invited to attend student musical performances throughout the year.
